WIND COLLECTOR

The idea of Wind Collector is to build something in Teotihuacan site to encourage tourists and Mexican people to commune with their ancestors. Historically, the ancients attained communion with god through a shaman. From the view of contemporary era, I believe that art work or drawings inspired by their ancestors act as a shaman. Mural paintings ancient remains in Teotihuacan can inspire artists to draw or make art work. I imagine sound by wind is inspiration from ancestors and believe Wind Collector is an example of art work to show how they can make communion with ancestors.
